Dr Christie Huang

Dr Huang graduated from medical school in Guangzhou, China. She worked in the Emergency Department and in Aged Care for 3 years before she moved to Australia.
She worked for 3 years at the Frankston Hospital in different departments and acquired a broad range of experience before starting her GP training, which culminated in her RACGP fellowship.
She also obtained her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Melbourne in 2000, and worked as research fellow in the Bionic Ear Institute. She has completed her postgraduate diploma in applied science at Swinburne University.
She enjoys all areas of general medical practice, having special interests in women’s health, as well as children and adolescent's health. She is also interested in chronic disease management.
